Hi there,
I’m Laura
Ideas are only valuable if people understand them.
That’s the thread that’s connected every stage of my career. Whether working in healthcare, publishing, nonprofits, or branding, I’ve always been drawn to projects where the message isn’t immediately obvious—where complexity has to be translated into something people can understand, connect with, and remember.
That perspective has shaped the way I approach creative work. I don’t start by asking what something should look like. I start by asking what someone should take away from it. The answer influences everything that follows, from the narrative and visual direction to the smallest editorial decisions.
My background spans content marketing, editorial, communications, and creative strategy, but the work has never really been about a particular discipline. It’s been about making information more accessible without making it less thoughtful. Different industries ask different questions, yet they all face the same challenge: helping people understand something they didn’t understand before.
Today, I enjoy working where strategy and design intersect to develop ideas that are as clear as they are creative. Because the strongest creative work doesn’t just capture attention, it gives people a reason to care.
The strongest ideas aren’t found. They’re shaped.
How I Think
For me, design is about creating relationships between elements rather than simply adding them. Words, visuals, hierarchy, and pacing must work together to guide attention, build understanding, and leave a lasting impression.
I approach design as a form of communication rather than decoration. Every choice should make the work clearer, stronger, and more intuitive, creating an experience that feels cohesive from the first impression to the final detail.
Curiosity is one of the most valuable creative tools.
Always Learning
With a Master’s degree in Creative Direction, Content, and Branding from IE Business School, I’ve deepened my understanding of communication through various mediums, including graphic design, motion graphics, video production, editorial design, copywriting, and creative strategy.
My background in communications and digital media provided a solid foundation, but my learning has continued beyond the classroom.
Creative work is constantly evolving, and I enjoy evolving with it.
Strong ideas deserve equally strong execution.
What I Bring
My skills and experience span content strategy, brand messaging, campaign development, copywriting, editorial and graphic design, and social media, allowing me to move comfortably from defining the idea to bringing it to life.
Colleagues know me for asking thoughtful questions, finding clarity amid complexity, and refining the details that make creative work feel effortless. Whether contributing to the bigger picture or polishing the final deliverable, my goal is always the same: to make the idea easier to understand—and harder to forget.
